Southern Cross 4WD Tours have been operating on the Gold Coast since 1994. Over this time we have developed a range of tours where you can experience a piece of the Australian country lifestyle and learn more about the environment and country we live in.
We love to show off this part of the world so be ready for a great time and we know you may even learn a thing or two.

Owners Stephanie and Darran have grown up on the Gold Coast and lived in the areas visited. This ensures that you not only learn about Australia but also the areas visited. Being a family business Darran’s father Royd and Sister Courtney also work hard to make sure your time with us is an enjoyable one.

Having grown up camping and being involved in 4wding at a personnel level you can be assured of our knowledge and skills in all aspects of our tours.

The VEHICLES
SC4WD have also employed the services of our hard working Australian vehicles called OKA’s. These vehicles are built here in Western Australia.
Initially these vehicle where built for use in the mines to transfer people from place to place but due to the nature of these strong off road vehicles they have been adapted into tour buses and can be found traversing the outback countryside Australia wide.

During the tour you can sit back in coach style seating (lots of leg room) and air conditioned comfort where we will bring the experience of Australiana to you. All our vehicles have an internal PA system that allows us to give you up to date information as we see it.
